Terms and Condition
1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to LinkSweep ("the App"), a bookmark management utility. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
2. USE OF THE APP
You may use the App for personal purposes to manage and validate your bookmark files. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works based on the App.
3. DATA INTEGRITY AND BACKUPS
Local File Modification: The primary function of the App is to modify your local Bookmarks.plist file. Actions such as "Save" will overwrite your original file. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate backups of your important data before using this feature.
Validation Accuracy: The "Validate" feature is provided as a utility to check the status of URLs. While we strive for accuracy, we take no responsibility for errors in validation that may occur due to network conditions, server-side security measures (e.g., bot detection), or other factors outside of our control. We cannot be held liable for any loss of data or other impacts resulting from the use of this feature.
In-App Backups: The App provides a backup and restore feature for your convenience. These backups are stored locally on your device. It is your responsibility to manage these backups.
4. MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT
We aim to identify and rectify issues with the App in a timely manner through updates. However, we do not provide a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for fixes to be applied within a specified timeframe. We may update or modify the App at any time without notice.
5. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
6. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through direct engagement between you and us, the App provider.
7. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements.
8. PRIVACY POLICY
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be viewed within the App. By using the App, you consent to the terms of the Privacy Policy.
9. AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be made available within the App. Your continued use of the App after modifications are posted shall be deemed acceptance of such changes.
